LOCAL FAVORITES PREVAIL AT TGA FOUR-BALL CHAMPIONSHIP
(Morristown) The TGA Four Ball Championship wrapped up today with hometown favorites, Parker Smith and Phillip Breeding, taking home the title. After a six and five semi-finals win over Matt King and Eric Rose, Smith and Breeding found themselves in the finals against Craig McElhaney and Trey Lewis of Middle Tennessee. The match was all square heading to hole 15 when Smith rolled in a birdie putt to give his team the one up lead. Smith then proceeded to birdie hole 16 making the match dormie going into the par 3 17th. Both teams proceeded to make par and the match was final with Smith/Breeding closing the match 2 and 1.
