Tyler Smith finds himself atop the leaderboard after the first round of the TN Boys Junior Amateur Championship
(Cordova) Tyler Smith, of Franklin, heads into round two of the 45th Annual TGA Boys Junior Amateur Championship two shots ahead of Farragut's Patrick Thomas. Smith carded a 65 (-6), on the par 71 Colonial Country Club North Course on Tuesday afternoon. In all there were 4 players who carded under par rounds after the first round. Along with Smith and Thomas, Steven Fox of Hendersonville and Grant Milner of Knoxville both found themselves in red numbers. Last years Champion, Joe David, is in a tie for seventh after posting a one over par round of 72.
